Founded by Michelle Titian and her producer Steve Brown, The Drive Foundation extends beyond the music and entertainment world. Michelle speaks openly and honestly about her struggles with alcohol abuse and depression. She shares her story in the hope of connecting with those who have and are currently struggling with mental illness(es) and addiction, working to dismantle the social stigmas around the realities of living a life consumed with addiction and psychological turmoil.
Through life experience, incredible courage and raw talent, Michelle challenges the listener to believe in the person behind all the adversity and to tune into a world of fresh vocals and inspiring sounds. Creating from a place of self-awareness and pure consciousness, Michelle’s singer-songwriter status is deeply rooted in peace and authenticity, inspiring her audience to let go and simply be in the moment with themselves and with her music.
London based award-winning record producer, Steve Brown started his career in the music industry with Sir Elton John and went on to produce many talented artists including ABC, Alison Moyet, George Michael (Wham!), Freddie Mercury (Queen), The Alarm, The Cult, The Manic Street Preachers, The Pogues and many other world-class writers and performers.
Steve specializes in the development, management and sustainability of all music projects. He has now turned his skills as a hit producer to promote social enterprise, creativity and entrepreneurialism in our arts
On hearing Michelle’s signature song Drive, Steve knew her story must be told, not only in music but in the reality of an organization that would save lives. They became one in music and in benignity. The Drive Foundation was born.
